THE STORY
It’s dark, blue, moody and calmingly beautiful. To me, it feels like an arrival. A quiet destination after a long, winding road. What most people don’t know is that I painted over an old piece, something from days gone by. I didn’t just recycle a canvas, I rewrote the story. I layered over the past with love and acceptance with every stroke. And in its place something new has emerged: grounding, peace, contentment and an excitement for the future. This piece reflects my journey, what I’ve walked through, what I’ve let go of, and who I’ve become in the process. It reminds me every day that beauty exists in the journey. This painting holds more than paint. It holds release. Every layer was a choice to cover what no longer serves, to blend pain into purpose, to let beauty bloom. The Journey isn’t about the destination. It’s about becoming.
