These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the High Style website located at https://www.highstyle.ca and any purchases made through it. By accessing or using our site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the site or making a purchase.

1. About Us

High Style is a Canadian artist and mixed goods and services business operating in Alberta, Canada. We sell and/or provide physical goods, services, and/or digital products ("Products") through our Squarespace-hosted website.

2. Eligibility

By using this website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

 3. Products and Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to display and describe our Products accurately. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content on the site are completely accurate, current, or error-free.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or discontinue Products at any time without notice.

 4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By placing an order, you authorize us to charge the applicable amount to your chosen payment method. We accept major credit and debit cards as supported by Stripe.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or customs fees associated with your purchase.

5. Orders and Cancellations

An order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including if a product is unavailable, if there is an error in pricing or description, or if we suspect fraudulent activity.

If your order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping timelines and costs, where applicable, are provided at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control.

Risk of loss and title for physical goods passes to you upon delivery to the carrier unless otherwise stated. 

7. Satisfaction and Issue Resolution

All sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges as a standard policy.

That said, your satisfaction matters to us. If something arrives damaged, is not as described, or if there is any problem with your order, please reach out to us at tamijo.highstyle@gmail.com and we will do our best to make it right. We handle concerns on a case-by-case basis and are committed to finding a fair resolution.

For digital products, all sales are final once the product has been delivered or made available for download.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, images, artwork, logos, and designs — is owned by or licensed to High Style and is protected by Canadian copyright law and applicable international treaties.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written consent. Purchase of a work does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights unless explicitly agreed to in writing.

Prohibition on AI and Machine Learning Use

The use of any content from this website — including artwork, images, text, and designs — for the purpose of training, fine-tuning, or otherwise developing artificial intelligence systems, machine learning models, or similar automated technologies is strictly prohibited without our prior written consent. This includes but is not limited to: datasets compiled for model training, generative AI systems, image synthesis tools, and style-replication technologies.

We do not authorize any scraping, harvesting, or automated collection of our content for these purposes, regardless of whether the content is publicly accessible on this site.

Any reproduction or imitation of the artist's style, technique, or works generated through AI or automated means — whether or not our content was directly used — and presented or sold without our consent, may constitute a violation of our intellectual property rights and applicable law.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the site will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada.

If you are accessing this site from outside Canada, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws. We make no representation that our Products or this site are appropriate or available in jurisdictions outside Canada.
